The Lithuanian U18 team is ready to fight for the highest prizes at the Omnitel European U18 Championship Men.
Lithuanian head coach, Kazys Maksvytis, and some of his key players said so at the press conference held in the shopping mall Ozas right next to Siemens arena on Wednesday.
"We are prepared by 80 or 90 percent and hope to reach all 100 percent during the championship." said head coach Maksvytis
"I am glad we managed to save our top players from injuries.
"We will fight for the first place"
The leader of the Lithuanian team and member of the all tournament five from 2009, Jonas Valančiūnas, promised to do the best he can fighting for medals.
"I would say that our readiness to win will exceed even 110 percent", he commented.
During the press conference the fan zone at the Ozas shopping mall was presented, as well as a special area for different competitions and contests that will be held during the entire course of the U18 championship.
