Zoran Dragic was unfortunately the last player to be cut from the Slovenia squad last year in preparation for the FIBA World Championship. This summer he will be hoping to make an impact and join his brother following a solid year playing in the Slovenian league, where he averaged 15 points, 5 rebounds and 2 steals a game as well as helping his team win the EuroChallenge Final Four. He has a terrific basketball IQ and makes good decisions in terms of shot selection. He has great court vision and can see the open man in an instant, making him very handy playing at the point guard position, though he is better suited at the two, as his leadership qualities and ability to control the tempo of a game, especially in a tight situation are a work in progress. He thrives on slashing to the hoop and can finish well in traffic.
