Antonios Fotsis - EuroBasket 2011 Profile
Team 2010-11: Panathinaikos (Greece-ESAKE)
Career: Ilisiakos (Greece-A2, 1994-97), Panathinaikos BC (Greece-ESAKE, 1997-2001), Memphis Grizzlies (NBA, 2001-02), Panathinaikos (Greece-ESAKE, 2002-03), Real Madrid FC (Spain- ACB, 2003-05), Dynamo Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2005-2008), Panathinaikos (Greece-ESAKE, 2008-11)

Antonis Fotsis is a true veteran of the Greek team and a player who leads by example by putting the team first with his voracious appetite for hard work and willingness to adapt his own role to the needs of the team at any given time. He used to be more of a influential player in years past when he would be the one tasked with making the big offensive plays. Nowadays, he can afford to be more balanced in his approach although when it comes to producing key defensive moments, he is still often at the heart of this. He still plays big minutes for Panathinaikos and that speaks volumes about his influence on the team and his team-mates. He is still one of the most capable power forwards in Europe and a leader in every sense with his wealth of experience still priceless for Greece.
