Having debuted back in 2008 at the Olympics in Beijing, Andrey Vorontsevich produced his best tournament for the National Team last summer at the FIBA World Championship. He really underlined his ability to be an effective inside-outside player at the elite level by shooting the ball well from downtown as well as working hard in the paint. In addition to his nice shooting touch, he provides Russia with a lot of versatility since he is a very flexible and dynamic player who is both athletic and able to run the floor well. Vorontsevich shone last season in Euroleague even if CSKA didn't and he is a player that continues to develop his game and increase his impact with the National Team. |
