Jerebko Looks Forward To Eventual Return

Sweden's most famous basketball player, Detroit Pistons forward Jonas Jerebko, is hoping to recover from surgery on his Achilles tendon before the end of the NBA regular season.

Jerebko tore his Achilles during a bad fall in an exhibition game against Miami on October 5.

Czech Republic are beginning to look the class act in Division B after they followed up their win against neighbours Slovak Republic with a 93-50 rout of Cyprus in Decin. The home team ran riot from tip to buzzer and leading the way was Pavel Slezak who buried four triples for 17 points.

Roundup: Belarus, Romania Win At Home
Belarus moved level with Sweden in Group B of EuroBasket qualifying Division B on Wedneday with a 94-76 rout of Albania.

A 21-9 in the second quarter turned the game in Belarus' favour after Albania managed to emerge from the opening period on top.
