Roundup: Belarus, Romania Win At Home

Belarus moved level with Sweden in Group B of EuroBasket qualifying Division B on Wedneday with a 94-76 rout of Albania.

A 21-9 in the second quarter turned the game in Belarus' favour after Albania managed to emerge from the opening period on top.

Pavel Ulyanko led four Belarus players scoring in double figures with 19 points, while Dzianis Korshuk added 12 and Dante Stiggers and Aliaksandr Kudrautsau had 10 each. Albania wasted 24 points from Ermal Kuqo.

That improved Belarus to 1-1, level with Sweden as they suffered a 70-54 defeat in Romania.

Jonas Jerebko had another huge night with 19 points and 14 rebounds, but it was not enough for Sweden.

Titus Nicoara had 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead Romania, while Vlad Moldoveanu also had 16 points and Mihai Silvasan chipped in with 11.
