Dimitri Lauwers is a longstanding member of the Belgian National Team who started playing in European club competitions more than a decade ago. He is a pure shooter and will continue to pose yet another perimeter threat in what is a vastly experienced and dangerous backcourt. Often coming off the bench to good effect, Lauwers really has seen it all during his lengthy career which has been mostly played in Italy having originally left his homeland to play for a period of four years in France. While he prefers to spot up from outside, he is also adept at making incisive passes to his team-mates and he works hard on the boards as well. It's some 12 years since he originally stepped out for the senior National Team at a Qualifying tournament and at the age of 32, he's now ready to play at his first major tournament.
