Ksistof Lavrinovic was not part of the Lithuanian roster in the Olympics after not even being invited to training camp. This year, the situation is much different, as coach Kazlauskas has expressed his wish for the Lavrinovic twins to be with the national team. At the age of 33, Ksistof finally won his first LKL championship ring after joining forces with his brother Darjus at Zalgiris Kaunas. Despite his injury-prone history, the crafty big man managed to stay on course and remain relatively healthy throughout the season. Possessing an excellent touch for a big man, Lavrinovic is as big a threat inside as he is outside the paint, with range beyond the three-point line and an array of moves in the post.
