Team 2010-11: Snaidero Udine (Italy-Lega Due) Career: UU Korihait (Finland-Korisliiga, 2004-06), Old Dominion University (USA-NCAA, 2006-10), Snaidero Udine (Italy-Lega Due, 2010-11)
Gerald Lee comes into the summer after an exciting 18 months which has seen him graduate from Old Dominion University, establish himself as a key part of the rotation for the National Team and complete his first professional season with Snaidero Udine of the Italian second division. Known by many as "Junior" because of his father and namesake who also played for Finland, Lee hails from a basketball family with two of his uncles also making it to the NBA. Now it looks like he could have a bright future ahead of him and follow in the family tradition. His game evolved during his four years playing in the NCAA and he adjusted well to the European game on his return last season. Lee brings scoring and rebounding inside and if he can manage to contain and play good defence on opposing big men in Lithuania he could be a pivotal player. |
