Having only had limited experience at National Team level leading up to EuroBasket 2009, Vojdan Stojanovski has since found an expanded role with the senior team during the last couple of years, even if he hasn't yet been able to find his shooting range as impressively as he is capable of. What he does bring to the team is a real sense of purpose and energy, especially defensively. He will crash the boards relentlessly and with quick hands and a good reading off the game, he is one of the first players you can expect to come up with a big steal in any game for FYR of Macedonia. He finished last season as a Balkan League Champion and will be full of confidence ahead of the summer when he will be looking to further increase his influence for the senior team. He also showed last summer he can play defence when he did an effective job on Luol Deng in one of the games with Great Britain.
