Team 2010-11: Lottomatica Roma (Italy-Lega)
Career: Scavolini Pesaro (Italy-Lega, 2003-05), Senigallia (Italy-Lega Due, 2005-06), Pistoia (Italy-Lega Due, 2006-7), Premiata Montegranaro (Italy-Lega, 2007-08), Edimes Pavia (Italy-Lega Due, 2008-09), Montegranaro (Italy-Lega, 2009-11)
After his excellent 2010-11 season in the Italian League with Montegranaro which led to him to a spot in the All Star Game, Andrea Cinciarini may have shown enough to convince Coach Pianigiani he deserves a spot on the bench of the National Team. The combo guard has really come of age and provides real options in the backcourt since he has a lengthy skill set in addition to his size which also helps defensively too. While he predominantly enjoys more of a playmaking role, he is capable of providing back-up at both guard spots and won't be daunted by having to step up and perform, although his lack of experience at the elite level may go against him.
