Bojan Bogdanovic enjoyed an extremely successful youth career for Croatia during which he regularly posted huge numbers including 17.3 points and 5.6 rebounds at the U20 European Championship 2009, a year when many thought he should have been playing for the senior team at EuroBasket 2009. A year later and his wish was granted as he showed his potential with great style in an excellent tournament debut at the FIBA World Championship. Bogdanovic shot the ball very well from all over the floor and finished as the second highest scorer. Athletic enough to get inside and crash the boards on a regular basis, he is not just a shooter and he can only have improved after another solid season playing in Euroleague with club team Cibona Zagreb.
