Team 2010-11: Cedevita Zagreb (Croatia-A1) Career: Zrinjevac Zagreb (Croatia-A1, 2004-05) BC Oostende (Belgium-D1, 2004-06), KK Split (Croatia-A1, 2006-08), Union Olimpia Ljubljana (Slovenia- SKL, 2008-09), Cedevita Zagreb (Croatia-A1, 2009-11)
Damjan Rudez has never played at a EuroBasket Final Round and yet found court time at the Olympic Games during 2008. He is an interesting player who has great size if he is playing on the wing in the small forward position. He can rebound due to his good leaping ability, has a decent first step and has good all-round fundamentals. His three-point shooting is consistent enough to draw out opponents and he is also comfortable putting the ball on the floor and is always aware of his team-mates. While he can also play power forward, his best position with the National Team is likely to be at the three spot. For the last two years he has been an important player with Cedevita Zagreb and played in European club competition. |
