Maksym Pustozvonov is arguably one of the most underrated small forwards in Europe having posted some excellent numbers for both the National Team and in the EuroChallenge and Eurocup competitions. He has the ability to play the wings where he is a real menace from three-point range as well as stepping up to play in the paint. He has great versatility since he can handle the ball on a pick and roll or is happy screening which is a real bonus. He played at the World University Games in Belgrade two years ago and more recently excelled during qualifying when as one of the few bright spots in a disappointing campaign, Pustozvonov averaged 9.3 points per game and finished with excellent percentages. He could provide a real scoring threat inside and out for Ukraine and could prove difficult to guard for opposing teams.
