Mike Lenzly didn't participate during the Qualifying Round last summer but was at EuroBasket 2009 where he did a really solid job for Great Britain at the guard spots. Since that tournament he has added to his considerable experience with a couple of successful seasons playing in the Czech Republic with Nymburk and also in Eurocup. He is a versatile combo guard who can either take on the role as playmaker or move to the two spot. Primarily, Lenzly has good all round fundamentals and will do exactly what Coach Finch requires with the pair having a good relationship after working together at club level. He is an efficient player who operates without any fuss and will simply make open shots when he gets the opportunity, he'll also look after the ball well and play hard on defence.
