After a break-out year in the NCAA with St Bonaventure during 2009-10, Ogooluwa Adegboye was called up to the National Team last summer and managed to have an impact by seeing much more court time than many had anticipated with over 20 minutes of action per game. Coach Finch has described Adegboye as a true point guard and a natural leader while admiting these are qualities any play-caller just can't get enough of. Naturally after impressing with his potential during the Qualifying Round, the guard will be hoping he can contribute in a similar way at his first EuroBasket tournament. With Great Britain still short of options in the backcourt, Adegboye has a huge opportunity to establish himself as the primary playmaker and he certainly has both the temperament and fundamentals to make that happen.
