Coach Finch has spoken of the question marks which still hang over this talented center and called on the player last year to find some consistency at club level and with the National Team. Boateng has never quite been able to cement his place and grab the court time he would have liked, even when some of the more established players were absent. Indeed he made his debut five years ago but has not been a regular. Now aged 25, it's probably time to deliver against the promise he showed in his younger days. There are positive signs after playing in the D League with the Idaho Stampede and Austin Toros following on from five pre-season NBA appearances with Denver Nuggets. Has the size and rebounding skills to be a really useful contributor at this level.
