Team 2010-11: Asseco Prokom Gdynia (Poland-PLK) Career: Asseco Prokom Gdynia (Poland-PLK, 2005-11)
Adam Lapeta has worked hard to gain time at the top level having played regularly in the lower Polish leagues with the second and third teams of Gdynia to gain experience. Now he is an established player who has plenty of Euroleague experience and the time could be right for him to finally take the next step and show what he can do with the National Team. He was actually part of the team during the Qualifying Round but a twisted ankle denied him when, after failing to make it onto the court against Georgia, he sustained his injury in the warm-up during the subsequent game against Portugal. A former Polish League All Star, he's a good shot blocker while defensively he will contest everything. |
