Dardan Berisha is one of the newest faces on the Polish roster having made his debut last summer during the Qualifying Round. Originally from the Kosovo region where his basketball education began as a young teen with the Peje club before he played at Cibona with his fellow juniors, it's been a colourful career already for the shooting guard who is still only 22-years-old but has already played in Spain as well as in the Polish league. It was playing in Warsaw with Polonia 2011 that he really impressed, averaging 16 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. That was enough for Anwil Wloclawek to snap him up on a three year deal and for a call up to the National Team last year. He now has experience in Eurocup and remains an exciting talent with plenty of potential to fulfil. Indeed the young shooter may yet prove to be a real ‘X-Factor' player for Poland. |
