Team 2010-11: Crvena Zvezda (Serbia-BLS) Career: Partizan Belgrade (Serbia-BLS, 2004-07), Crvena Zvezda (Serbia-BLS, 2007-11)
Since leaving Buducnost juniors, Boris Bakic has spent his entire professional career playing in Belgrade and brings experience of winning titles with Partizan and being one of the leaders of a young Crvena Zvezda team. A former youth player with Serbia & Montenegro, Bakic is yet to breakthrough with the senior Montenegro team although his maturity and contributions last season may persuade Coach Radonjic to hand him a spot. Hampered by injuries in recent times, a clean bill of health this summer means Bakic can showcase his excellent defensive skills and quick hands. He also has a good basketball IQ which helped him rack up almost five assists per game in the Serbian league last season although he needs to improve his three-point shooting. |
