The stand-out player for Montenegro at the U20 European Championship last summer where he averaged almost 17 points per game, Vladimir Mihailovic also turned out for the senior team during the Qualifying Round last year. He showed glimpses of what he is capable of playing at the elite level in years to come and should squeeze his way back onto the bench for EuroBasket 2011. Always in the game, Mihailovic is a busy player who can not only shoot the ball from range, create for his team-mates or penetrate to the hoop, he also handles the ball well and with his strong character and high basketball IQ, he shouldn't be overawed if given the opportunity to shine coming off the bench. |
